31 Jul 2026 - Our Annual Jerry Garcia birthday event, the biggest fundraiser of the year for Reef Relief, takes place on July 31st. This is a Thursday night and it is our TENTH ANNIVERSARY. The event starts at 5pm and the last auction will be at about 9:30pm, though the band plays till roughly midnight. We are looking for volunteers to help sell raffle tickets both before and during the event. I will be flying home a few days beforehand, and potentially setting a barhopping trail or three that week to sell tickets during whatever happy hours I can reach. On Thursday before the event, maybe around 2pm or so, we also need 1 person to help take raffle prizes in a truck or van from Reef Relief (by Conch Farm) to the Parrot (you will be following Reef Relief staff). During the event we would love to have outgoing personalities helping us sell the raffle tickets for both raffle prizes and our cash drawing. It is an exceedingly easy job and you can even have a drink or two on me while doing it (definitely one or two afterwards too). I may also need participants or a cohost for my bargames series during the event OR someone to wear the dancing bear costumes and a speaker with me and r*n/dance down Duval street bringing in tourists (Daniel D Wiggins Jr ahem).
Please let me know if you are interested either here or via DM. I'll need definite commitments by July 1, so plenty of time to think about it and make plans. Thanks all!
PS: Just plain ol inviting folks to attend too! We have all kinds of prizes from big expensive stays, to bikes, to restaurant and salon gift certificates. Nearly a hundred different prizes and giveaways already on the list!

31 Dec 2026 KWH3 24 Hour Hash New Years Trail.Ever want to ring in the New Year 24x in Key West? Well now is your chance. Join us this New Year's Eve to help us ring in the New Year in each of the worlds 24 time zones starting with patch of sea in the Pacific that rings in the New Year first, and then continuing to New Zealand, Australia, etc, until we reach the last one in Hawaii, 24 hours later. We will count down the New Year each hour, at a different bar or location in Key West each hour on the hour.
Hasher and civilians(NOT MUGGLES) are welcome to join in at anytime. The fee will cover a Neon event tshirt(so that the drunk drivers can see us), hats, horns, mugs, toe tags, and any other crap we can find. We will try and stockpile coupons and chips for the bars so that drinks will not be too expensive(drinks are pay as you go). Hashers are encouraged to share drinks along the way, and nap if necessary. We will hit most of the classic bars in Key West, as well as some out of the way ones that most people dont know.
Since the island is only 2 x 4 miles, it will NOT be a ball buster. Extra credit bars will be available, and the brand new " Key West Street Bingo" game will be played between stops with ca$h prizes to the winners. Other games and fun activities will also ensue. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and something to jump into bodies of water along the way(hot tubs, pools, and the ocean).
Special commemorative coins will be awarded to those who complete the ENTIRE challenge. Note that this an expensive time of year to visit Key West, and limited hash crash space is available, so book as soon as you can afford to do so.

ZOMBIE BIKE RIDE-
Meet at the Hash House in your costume for face painting at 1100. Appts for face painting available from 1100-1500. At 1500 we will proceed to East Martello for the party & start of the world famous Zombie Bike Ride. BYOB for trail and at the end at The Coffee Butler Amphitheater. Zombieland in Fort East Martello at 2 PM will have Body painting, food vendors and full bar on the grounds of the starting area 2-6 PM. Bikes join the thousands of costumed zombies at 6 PM when the zombie invasion heads down Jimmy Buffett Highway to downtown Key West for the FREE Zombiefest Dance Party at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater. Saturday, place your chairs on Whitehead St in front of the Post Office near the bank at 3:30pm. Then, meet at 3:35pm behind the Courthouse for the start of the KWH3 Costume Hash. Theme is '90s Cosmic Carnival. Hare is Thar She Blows. Hare's away at 4pm. Hash Cash is $10. The auction bins will be available 3:30-4 at the start. All proceeds go to our designated charity,  Reef Relief.  Haberdashery will be available after trail and circle. After circle, we will move to our pre-positioned chairs on Whitehead to view the Fantasy Fest Parade. Port-a-potties and food booths are available very close to our viewing area. Hash beverages will be available while we watch the parade to those who paid Hash cash.
